YouTube - Breitling Jet Team
The privately sponsored Breitling Jet Team performs with nine L-39 Albatros aircraft. Headquartered in Dijon France, they travel to air shows throughout the world. Read more about the L-39 Albatros here.

CAP-10
Although Breitling began sponsoring their Jet Team in 2003, the components of the team were established much earlier. The head of the team, Jacques Bothelin, has been flying aerobatics since 1980. The first aircraft he flew in air shows was the CAP-10. You can find the CAP-10 here.
Patrouille Martini
In 1982 Bothelin joined the Patrouille Martini aerobatic team flying SIAI Marchetti SF 260 aircraft. You can find out more about the SF 260 here. In 1988 the team switched to Pilatus PC-7 aircraft.

Patrouille Ecco
Patrouille Martini disbanded in 1990 due to lack of sponsorship, but was reestablished as Patrouille Eco. They flew four Pilatus PC-7 aircraft throughout Europe, the Middle East and Northern Africa.

Patrouille Adecco
Sponsorship changed again in 1997, and the team became Patrouille Adecco. The new sponsors only lasted one season.

Les Apaches
Only two of the team aircraft could be flown under the name "Les Apaches" from 1999 to 2001.

Khalifa Jet Team
In 2002 a new sponsor took over the team, now named the Khalifa Jet Team. It was comprised of four L-39 Albatros aircraft. The team performed throughout Europe.
The team changed sponsors once again in 2003 when it became sponsored by Breitling to be known as the Breitling Jet Team. Two L-39's were added to the team in 2004 and three more in 2008, bringing the total to nine aircraft in all.
