The Fairchild PT-19 was a favorite among the primary training aircraft that aspiring pilots from Canada, England and the United States trained in during World War II.
The Fairchild PT-19 was one of the world’s first monoplane training aircraft. Its ruggedness and ease of handling, both in the air and on the ground, made it ideally suited for the job.
Some 6,400 Fairchild PT-19 aircraft were produced. Some eighty continue to fly to this date.

The RC Fairchild PT-19 from Hangar 9 wingspan is 82 in. and length is 64 in. For power it needs engines from 1.08 to 1.20 2C or 1.20 to 1.50 4C.
